How to play

Tambola (Housie) is meant to be played with everyone in the same room. One person hosts — they open the Number Caller tab and call out numbers one at a time. Everyone else plays from their own ticket (printed, or the tappable link) and crosses off matching numbers as they're called.

Claiming a win

The moment a player completes a pattern, they call it out loud immediately — e.g. "Top Line!" or "Housie!" The host pauses calling, checks that player's ticket against the numbers already called, and confirms or rejects the claim out loud before continuing. This keeps everything fair, transparent, and settled in the room in real time.

Common winning patterns

  all 5 numbers in the top row

  all 5 numbers in the middle row

  Bottom Line
  all 5 numbers in the bottom row

  Four Corners
  the first and last numbers of the top row, plus the first and last numbers of the bottom row
• 🏠
  Full House (Housie)
  all 15 numbers on the ticket

The host can also announce their own house rules or extra patterns (like a "Star" or "Second Full House") before starting — just make sure everyone agrees on the patterns and prizes before the first number is called.

A note on prizes

This is a free tool for casual, in-person community fun — CommunitE doesn't run, organize, or take a share of any prize pool, and doesn't facilitate real-money wagering in any way. If you and your group choose to play for prizes, that's entirely between the players — we'd suggest keeping it to non-cash prizes (discount codes, small gifts, bragging rights) to stay clearly on the safe, informal side. You're responsible for following whatever local rules apply to your group if real money is ever involved.
